Office of the Chairperson
Statements and Calls to Action

By Prof. JOSE MARIA SISON
ILPS Chairperson
On behalf of the entire International League of Peoples' Struggle, we the International Coordinating Committee express our militant solidarity and support for the Coalition Against NATO/G8 War and Poverty Agenda. We congratulate the coalition for the success of all the events it has undertaken in opposition to the G8 and NATO in connection with their summit meetings on 19-21 May 2012.

Issued by the Office of the Chairperson
International League of Peoples’ Struggle
We, the International League of Peoples’ Struggle, join the workers of the world in celebrating the day in their honor, express our militant solidarity with them and support their struggle against imperialism, the biggest cause of the suffering of the toiling masses. The current severe crisis of the world capitalist system is worsening the exploitation and oppression of the people.

Prof. JOSE MARIA SISON
Chairperson, ILPS International Coordinating Committee
The International League of Peoples' Struggle (ILPS) condemns the racist murder of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Florida, on 26 February! The hearts of our members in 43 countries are with his family in their time of loss. We condemn the Sanford police for letting his killer walk free! We stand with the tens of thousands around the United States who are taking to the streets to demand justice.

Dear Comrades and Friends,
The International League of Peoples' Struggle and the International Coordination of Revolutionary Parties and Organizations (ICOR) issued a joint call last year in connection with a joint campaign against nuclear energy and nuclear arms. Both organisations have undertaken work on this campaign since 1st September. On 3rd December, World Environment Day, many demonstrations and programs were held all over the world which propagated said joint call and focused attention on this campaign.

Chairperson, International League of Peoples' Struggle
We, the International League of Peoples' Struggle, condemn US President Barack Obama for signing into law last 31 December the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), with its so-called Homeland Battlefield provisions, which allow the US military to arrest and detain indefinitely US citizens without due process.
This reprehensible anti-democratic law is a further step in the fascisation of the US ruling system. It further develops the legal infrastructure for fascism, as earlier laid down by the USA PATRIOT Act of 2001 in apparent reaction to 9/11.
